Dynamo Installation (Front & Rear Axle) The dynamo should be mounted perpendicular to the line. The roller must be placed at a right angle to the center of the tire, and the bracket screws should be kept tight to avoid slipping and damage to the tire. The ground screw should be fastened tightly to the frame.
Head Lamp Installation Before installing the head lamp, the lamp rack and frame must be clean. Connect one end of the core to the press button type connector as shown in the figure.
How to Connect the Cord Press the connector with your thumb, and an eyelet will be visible. Put the cord through the eyelet. The bottom of the dynamo unit is marked with "12V 5.5W" for the head lamp and "2.5V 0.5W" for the tail lamp. Any miconnecting will destroy the tail lamp and result in a lack of head lamp light.
Ways of Protection To prevent rust, apply grease and lightly rub the chromium-plated part of the lamp weekly or bi-weekly. Oil the moving parts of the dynamo unit every one or two weeks. Do not wash the reflector, but gently clean the dust with a soft flannel cloth if necessary. Keep the roller free of mud to avoid slipping. Lower the speed when changing the beam to avoid damage to the tail lamp.
Note: The front headlight must be attached to the frame of the bike for the (-) charge. You may need some extra cable for the head lamp connection, or you can cut some lines from the tail light.
